Special Order material and/or Close-Out item sales are FINAL and NOT RETURNABLE.
In-Stock material returns will only be accepted within 30 days of purchase date. Customer will have the option of (1) receiving a store credit in the form of a gift card, or (2) paying a 20% restocking fee and receiving an 80% refund by the same method of originating payment on order.
Stock Area Rugs must be returned within 48 hours of sale.
All returns must be in sellable condition. Returns must be in full, unopened cartons or packaging.
Terms and Conditions of Sale
All products sold are subject to variations of shade and size from samples. Such variations are an inherent characteristic of all products.
Customer’s responsibilities for material inspection:
Customer or Customers Agent (Builder, Contractor) must inspect all packaging for damage prior to accepting material. Avalon Flooring cannot file claims for damaged material on the customer’s behalf after material is accepted. No claim can be honored after the material is installed.
Avalon Flooring’s responsibility will not exceed the cost of the material on a customer claim.
Sales are made on a payment in full basis only unless prior “Open Account” status has been arranged with our credit department. When credit is granted, terms are net 30 days from date of delivery, unless otherwise specified. Interest at 1.5% (18% annual) interest charge, but not to exceed the maximum rate prescribed by state law, will be applied to all past due invoices.
If a check is returned by the customer’s bank for any reason Avalon Flooring must pass along its $50 bank service charge to the customer.
All orders must be taken within 60 days. After 60 days you have the following options:
Customer can make arrangements for material to be delivered (delivery charges will apply)
Customer can pick up material
If material is left behind after 90 days without any prior customer communications and/or arrangements, said material will be forfeited along with any deposits to cover storage costs
To ensure you have the proper amount of material for your installation please review items such as: seam placement, product overage and waste with your Installer prior to ordering. Final ordered amounts are the responsibility of the customer. Avalon Flooring cannot provide order quantities for jobs that are not physically measured and installed by Avalon Flooring.
